Ever since the firm was founded,Thousand Chemicals has always been a firm believer in the value of Training, and this is indeed a part of the genetic component of the company. Therefore we are committed to offering premium quality training programmes. Fulfilling the wishes of our Customers, visiting their premises, and observing their stumbling blocks over a long period of time urged us to design and implement Training Courses that seemed to be the missing piece of the jigsaw in the Composite Materials Industry.
By dividing these Courses into three levels – Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced – we were able to put into practice the necessary training that professionals in the field require. We also design tailor-made courses for the particular needs that customers may have, and our Specialist Composites Training Team deliver the Course according to their instructions.
The Training Team’s technical expertise and vast experience allows us to carry out technical audits on the Customer’s own premises. The close contact between the Customer’s staff and our Auditors enables us to gain familiarity with the problem in order to issue a report to help to find a solution. We are familiar with the products, we are knowledgeable about the processes, and we provide solutions.
We also collaborate with organisations and institutions, who may request that we provide additional training to their existing Courses. This has proved to be highly successful.
COMPOSITES COURSES
Thousand Chemicals decided to contribute to the Composites Industry in a meaningful way by studying the necessities of professionals working in the field and developing training programmes to meet the shortfalls present with regard to the necessary knowledge required to manufacture composite products. The following courses are regularly run according to the level of expertise required by the workforce in question:
Beginner
Designed for those who are not familiar with Composites, but who wish to become acquainted with them to enable them to eventually work professionally, and those who already work in workshops or factories and wish to acquire further knowledge – how to handle and formulate them.
Objective
Provide knowledge on the materials used in the manufacturing process of Composite Materials, also known as Composites.
Intermediate
Suitable for those who already work and are familiar with Composites, but wish to acquire a wider knowledge of their usage. Also aimed at Production Technicians, those in charge of Composites Workshops, Engineers and those who wish to improve their knowledge on these materials, as well as their diverse manufacturing processes.
Objective
To improve knowledge on Composites by learning which products to use in the diverse manufacturing processes, and being able to make an informed choice in each given case.
Advanced
Aimed at those who already work and have experience in Composites, but wish to acquire further knowledge of them at an Advanced level.
Objective
An in-depth study of Composites focusing on advanced specific fibres and resins specifically for this level. This course enables the understanding of resin reaction mechanisms as well as instruction on the selection of reinforcements suitable for each case, emphasizing autoclave behaviour.

About your Composites Trainer
Your composite materials trainer is a team composed of technical personnel aged 78 to 25, with knowledge not limited to various materials used in the industry - in terms of resins and reinforcement materials - but also experts in various manufacturing technologies in aerospace, especially wind turbine blades, as well as production and recovery technologies, energy accumulation, design, engineering, and manufacturing.
Their profound knowledge and excellent communication skills make them ideal composite material trainers in various fields.
For a period of time, they have been collaborating with Thousand Chemicals to lead training courses, from beginner to intermediate, and finally to advanced.
